So, I have several problems, and I need your help:
My internet connection is DSL, and its speed is 100 Mbps (Pretty fast), but when I want to download anything (Especially big files), it takes a long time compared to the file's size (And the download speed rate shows numbers ranging from 4-12 Kb/sec). I did scan for posible threats (Spyware, viruses, etc.) but nothing!
--I'm using these programs:
-Yahoo! AntiSpy
-Windows Defender (Beta 2)
-Symantec Antivirus
-Spyware Doctor
And even the internet in general became slow. So..What's the problem??

P.S: The computer restarted suddenly by itself just minutes ago, and I let it do the 'checking system' thing

Thanks in advance :)

Something just poped up on my cpu. I didn't get time to read it all before it disappered, it said : Someone is tracking your computer. They now know what sites you have been on what clips you have watched, what stories you have read.... That is all I got before it was gone. Was it the government or just another random pop up ad or a warning from my virus scanner that someone is trying to jack into my computer?

I had always heard about internet scams but never encountered them until today. Well occasionally I buy things online and pay with PayPal. I've never had a problem with them and I still don't. But I got an email that looked legitimate, had the PayPal address (it looked like it did) so I opened it. The content of the email looked like a PayPal email looks. It said my personal information needed updating and I should click on their link which they provided. It looked exactly like the PayPal website--it was incredible. I think they hijacked the PayPal website because all the details were the same. They asked me to enter my password which I did. But when they said they needed me to fill in my credit card numbers I did not. At that time I checked my status bar and there was no lock. Long story shorter, it was a scam. I contacted PayPal and they said to send it to them and gave me their "spoof" address. So be sure if you go to Pay Pal, use a new browser window.
