Having read dangers of enabling Active X on my new computer, is it possible to modify or customize to enable one particular facility? I use Yahoo International (US) chat but find that I can no longer open my web cam to send picture due to Active X restrictions but I can receive picture. Thank you

there are dangers of active X controls, however, you can install it if its digitally signed by known source; like yahoo
Go ahead and install the activex for yahoo

if this is through the web, you can add site to trusted therefore giving it less security.
do this by copying the URL going into tools, internet, options, security, click on trusted, then sites, paste URL then apply

Microsoft has introduce of registration system before installation to identify the browser.Pls check

Alow only trusted sites controls be installed and executed on your system.
