For the consumer versions this is not possible. He needs an update subscription. And for that he needs an internet connection.

If he is running an Enterprise version you can download the latest superdat file from the McAfee website and burn it on to a CD for him to install it from.

I've been told (but have no way of verifying) that the enterprise superdat file will update consumer versions if the user has a subscription registered on that machine. But again, you need an internet connection to do that.

Symantec does offer downloadable updates, but again you need to have a subscription registered on the target machine for the downloaded updates to install. I have verified that.

I understand tht there is not any information superhighway conction. attempt and set up recent antivirus application, thats the least confusing of all. or you may desire to discover a loose antivirus from internet that may eliminate the virus. If those at the instant are not obtainable then format the gadget with mandatory backups. advise ur customer to purchase the main modern-day antivirus application that'l help in destiny

hi, i think you should buy another anti-virus software.

i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
