It won't let me click anything on there including the icons and everything. Not even the start button!! Can anyone help me?

Somebody booted me and I want to know how they did it, not for revenge, I don't know the guy. Perhaps it's not a boot, because the whole window of Chat and Y! Messenger with voice closed and logged out. I was nervous that time. Thanks for the suggestions and answers.

I noticed someone is accessing my yahoo mail and sending dirty mail to my friends. When I informed this to my EDP section, the guy there told me that "someone" must have sent some email with trojan virus to me and when I opened it, the sender of the mail got my password. Please let me know if this is possible.

saved a page as html but when opening it the page appears momentarily then disappears while a pop up blocker message comes on screen. choosing 'allow blocked content' doesn't help to get the page up on the screen. suggestions are welcome.......

My wife is freaking out because some searches showed up in the IE address history, searches on YouTube for "stripper" and "leather" and such. And some porn adware popped up on the computer when she booted up this morning.

How is this possible? Neither of us made these searches no one else lives here. We just installed a wireless DSL connection. Could someone else be doing this? How did the adware get on our system? I did'nt pay too much attention to the security aspect of things, maybe I should have.

Any info would be appreciated. And if you can quote some credentials that would help me convince the wife.

I went into seupt up options and put on a password to keep nozy family out and now I can't get on, when the laptop is booting up after a few seconds a key symbol apears on the screen and it doesn't go to windows, it's Acer970Cx made in 1997 (i know aincent)

lately i got dis virus called downloader-awx took me a long time to ged rid. my computer is pretty good by has been running a bit slower from when i got it. i heard a disk defragmetner speeds it up but i need more info about it.

the only way to get them to dissapeer off the screen is by doing ctrl alt del and task manager
