Think you just have to go to Microsofts homepage and select Validate my Windows. Then put in all the junk it asks for.

Hi, I am Nirmal from Microsoft,
If you have installed Windows Vista, then activate vista, then please activate it through Internet or through phone, otherwise you will not able to login wo windows after 30 days.
As 30 days are the dafault time period for activating Windows.

is your copy of windows already validated?
if it is then why worry?

you just gotta call microsoft customer service and it takes about 15 minutes after you get somebody it is easy
