I've recently upgraded my RAM from 1GB to 2GB. Originally my Dell Dimension 2400 came from factory with only 128MB. Can you believe it? Now I'm told I need to increase my PAGE FILE SIZE to help take advantage of the increased RAM. I need the most speed from my RAM upgrade, thanks for your answers.

Is there any difference between the old black coaxial cable and the new white coaxial cable they use now. I want to run cable out to the garage and the neighbor has a spool of black wire but I also want to hook up internet and they usually install the white coaxial these days and don't want to run the black coaxial if it isn't going to work the best for internet applications. Are they differenet grades of wire? What should I be looking for to run internet? Or will the black coaxial be fine?

spybot and norton. I have read others questions about going to download.com and also getting adware.i need a direct site that i can just click where it will take me right to it or I need to know exactly where to go step by step to get to a dowload. my pop ups come up as soon as i get to a website and when i am reading my mail, i get so many pop ups it moves my mail down so i have to scroll down just to read one and so forth. I have also did the internet options thing where i have it on no pop ups. but now it ask me every time if i want to allow pop-ups, which is every 2 minutes and takes forever to let me continue if i say no and i still get popups even after saying no. I need to know also how to get this warning off after i download something. I am at work now and i am going to print your details of what i need to do when i get home. give me a direct link to a download so all i have to do is key it in or if i can pull this up I can just click directly on the downlod i need &start free

I understand that it is possible to automatically put the serial numbers i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and so on in each and every row in the table.

my printer printed my first paper fine and the I was printing the second a whole diffrent paper not the same one like a diffrent file on something one was a book report the other about inuit at diffrent times it wouldn't print it and so i deleted the paper from my and it won't let anything print and it still there saying being deleted can I clear it or something help please

Well my computer is slow as hell for one reason or another. When i try to restore my computer to an earlier time, there are no bold numbers and i cant restore it unless i restore to yesterday(my computer was the same yesterday). Does anybody know how to restore it, & yes when i try to turn the month back nothing happens. Can anybody give me the solution, my computer freezes & there are popups everywhere, HELP!!!

A friend of mines computer was in safe mode yesterday. Someone ran a disk she had for it about drivers and now her computer comes up saying

I have Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7.0. My internet tool bar used to be "fixed" at the top, where it was always there and stayed put. I must have bumped something in error. Now, the toolbar is gone unless I move my mouse to the top of the page, and it will come down for me to make my selection. I prefer it to be fixed at the top, always. How can I correct this? I tried looking under internet tools, and can't figure out how to correct. I selected toolbars, and "Lock Toolbars" was already selected. Is there something else I should be doing or another way to fix this? Please help!

You know, the ones who send out the mass mailings to increase varies parts of ones anatomy, all those offers for watches, software, drugs, etc? Maybe the pump and dump stock spammers, or the ones that seem to keep drawing your name/e-mail for millions of dollars in prizes several times aday. If you could do anything you want to them, what would it be?

I want to install a game on the computer at work (J.C.Penney) because it gets really slow. Its not an online game, but can a company still see me playing it. What if I take out the ethernet cord? Should I install it every time i play then uninstall it when I leave for the day? I also don't want a whole speech on playing games at work. I only get around 4 customers every 6 hours on the weekdays. I am doing my job.

I dont know whats going on with my laptop. I have a HP WINDOWS VISTA home premium, and it worked fine till i turned it on today. my laptop comes with a scroll wheel built in the mouse pad. But for some reason today its not working. Why is the scroll function on my mouse pad not working? I dont think I changed anything to make it stop working, is there any button i can press to make it start working? Im lost so I need some help

I created a movie using windows movie maker, I added photos and music files, then I emailed the movie file...?
to a person who was going to burn a DVD of it however the photos are coming thourgh with black x's and not the photos, how do I need to fix this file so the pics go with and show up in the video?

Why does my laptop take ages to load? Neeeed serious HELP!!?
I am on my new windows vista home premium laptop. Got it last month... when I start my laptop...sometimes takes ages to load...this happens after I typed in my password and it stays with a background with the word ''welcome'' for ages!!

I have no Idea...why this is happening...any ideas?

I've been using the test drive on my laptop for Word and it's about to expire. I need something else that I can use to take and store notes, even just for another 30 days of test driving. My university won't get the actual Office suite that I'm wanting for a while yet, so I need anything that I can a least test drive for free for a few more weeks or so.
It needs to be something I can write notes, and preferably papers, in and save them for as long as the test drive lasts.
Anything resembling Office's Word would be welcome. If possible, a link to where I can get it or find out more would be appreciated.
