I have Windows Vista with Internet Explorer 7.0. My internet tool bar used to be "fixed" at the top, where it was always there and stayed put. I must have bumped something in error. Now, the toolbar is gone unless I move my mouse to the top of the page, and it will come down for me to make my selection. I prefer it to be fixed at the top, always. How can I correct this? I tried looking under internet tools, and can't figure out how to correct. I selected toolbars, and "Lock Toolbars" was already selected. Is there something else I should be doing or another way to fix this? Please help!

STILL NEED ANSWERS, please! None of the below has helped. Menu Bar and Lock Toolbars are both checked. I tried all of the suggestions and no luck. Helllllpppppp...... As a sidenote, some of them do not apply to Vista users.

I would look for a setting that is something like "Show/Hide". Try right-clicking right on the toolbar and see if anything comes up like Preferences or anything like that.

Right-click next to your tabs and select "menu bar" once it appears right-click that and then make sure that "menu bar" is checked, if not select it to see the checkmark and it will remain visible.
