first, and then burning to the second drive. I think if i burn it dvd to dvd it will save a lot of time. I have nero 8. There is no option for this, on this program. If so, what programs and how can i do this? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, So I read that my pc takes this PC-100 type memory...i look around for memory to buy and i see the kind that would fit in my computer but it says its PC133 or mabey another number....whats this mean and will it matter for my computer? I alredy know my maximum support of ram....so i dont need to worry about that.

I cannot afford satellite, but that is looking like the only option so far. Time Warner sucks in my area so forget that. Nothing else is available in my area, and that really annoys me!

I am working with another software vendors sample .java files (a couple hundred) and occasionally need to find one that demonstrates how to use their API. Their API set has over 10,000 objects and the documentation unfortunately is, more often than not, lacking details (i.e. a method takes "int arg1, int arg2" but really they are wanting some sort of enumerated object).

I have done both explicit searches (*.java) and open searches (*.*) to find files containing keywords but the Microsoft search does not find files that contain the words. If I manually search the files, I can see plenty of them that contain the words, but I don't really want to rely on a manual search when the OS has a search capability (just not working as expected).

Any thoughts on a default configuration that needs to happen? Does another option exist? I'm using Eclipse as my IDE and can search my project directory but these are sample files and I don't want to pull them all into my project just to do a search.

I have seen loads of these emails on sites like Pogo and playandwin why do they bother with them. its the same as the old fashoned chain letters where they say if you dont pass this on to 5 people with in X amount of time then something bad will happen.

i hv wasted so many cds while trying to make music,data,picture cds.there are so many reasons to get errors and i dont understand all that.i tried real player and tht worked,but not 4 picture cd.please help and tell me wht options do i cheack n uncheack on nero.i try cd-r,dvd-r.only thing that worked was cd-rw.i could burn all cds well initially but aftr reinstalling software,i duno where the mistake lies.at times com says could not perform disc at once,at times invalid state,other times,could not perform end track,etc.thnks for ur help

i have a iso file that is 4 gb and cant xfer to external hard drive.

hi i had 1 dvd burner and a cd drive (not a burner) i want to make a copy of one of the dvd but i only have one dvd burner driver. so is it possible if i copy the dvd data to my pc then later burn it to a blank dvd . if anybody know how to do this plzzz comment !!!!

I sent a I.B.M Pentum 2 Lap Top to Nigeria, to a friend working over there. He reports that it fell off the bed and the screen broke. I suggested he have a shop there fix it to save on shipping it here and then back. Can some one tell me about how much it will cost for repairs.

something went wrong with my hard drive and we had to get it replaced, in exchange the company takes back our old hard drive. i have been illegally downloading music would they find that on my hard drive? do they go through the hard drives they take back?

I have a relatively new laptop, which is a Gateway M275 Tablet PC, 40 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM.

It originally came with Windows XP Tablet PC edition. But of course, I wanted to upgrade, so I got Windows Vista Ultimate, and I think it is great. On top of that, I got Microsoft Office 2007 to boot.

However, my computer has been SO slow, it is horrible. If I need to get work done in a hurry, it takes FOREVER. I keep getting programs that don't respond, laptop freezes for two minutes, then unfreezes again, etc. It's horrible.

I have recently purchased a 2 GB ReadyBoost flash drive, and has seem to help a bit, but doesn't cut the cake too much.

Is there ANY way I can speed up my system? I try to close as many applications as I need to, and it still doesn't help. I don't want to buy anything else for my laptop, because I have already spent a fortune. Free software? Tweaks? Anything?

I appreciate all help! It's driving me crazy! Thanks so much!!! :)

I have an old Packard Bell Computer Model A940-3X3 and was wondering if someone could tell me all about it.

I want to give it away and would like to be able to tell the folks a bit about it.

It's pretty old, but it says Pentium on the front.....probably a P1 if there was such a thing.

It does have a CD ROM and a Floppy disk....and it works.

I changed the name of the user in Control Panel. I also used a registry editor to search for the old owner's name and replace it by mine all over the registry. The old name still shows in some places. For example, when the laptop is locked, the login screen says it can only be unlocked by the logged in user (me) or the PC owner (the old name). Also, when I go to the Task Manager, most of the running processes are running under the old owner's credentials.

What am I missing?
