I cannot afford satellite, but that is looking like the only option so far. Time Warner sucks in my area so forget that. Nothing else is available in my area, and that really annoys me!

You CANNOT get "free high speed internet" or the internet company would make a loss and close down.
If none of your local phone / cable providers have a suitagble package then satellite is the only alternative, but it's only high speed 1 way and can suffer horrendous lag times.

to get free internet in your area first get wireless setup, second go from hotel to htel to get their signal. use internet for free site to get gas as this is more expensive than getting cable or high speed but the forst is a flexible option as the motel may need someone to clean rooms oe such and internet then is free

No such thing as free internet (for home or work use). You have to pay for it like everyone else does..
