i have a iso file that is 4 gb and cant xfer to external hard drive.
getting a problem of need more disk space when i try to xfer it.
i have no problems with avi files or any other type of file

if its formatted in fat32 there is a filesize limit of around 4gigs ... it needs to be in ntfs ..

From your description, your external drive is using FAT32, it wont take anything over 4GB.
You will need to format your ext drive in NTFS format.
