why do i get error while burning cds from nero cd burning rom?

i hv wasted so many cds while trying to make music,data,picture cds.there are so many reasons to get errors and i dont understand all that.i tried real player and tht worked,but not 4 picture cd.please help and tell me wht options do i cheack n uncheack on nero.i try cd-r,dvd-r.only thing that worked was cd-rw.i could burn all cds well initially but aftr reinstalling software,i duno where the mistake lies.at times com says could not perform disc at once,at times invalid state,other times,could not perform end track,etc.thnks for ur help

Now check the type of cd's yo using, try out sony cd's r good,
Also repair your windows OS. make new installation choose repair option.

I am wondering if you have ever successfully burned a CD? If so, then your equipment is probably OK. First, you need to make sure you do have a burner installed in that port. Look closely at the drive where you put the disk in. Does it say CD Burner? If so, then you should be able to burn anything. I will be happy to help you. Hopefully you have good disks. Sometimes we buy them and a few are defective but it is possible that all of yours are bad. Contact me if you wish after you have checked all these.

I not a big burner so have limited knowledge, but when nero says to insert a blank disk, it tells you what sort of disk to put in. so read carefully. Also some older disc players will not recognise multisession discs so i tend to de-select multisession.
