How did they ruin your computer exactly? Did you have them reinstall software, remove a virus, add/replace/remove hardware? Depending on what you asked them to do, the system will be different, possibly entirely different (i.e. reinstall the OS).
If you feel they did something wrong to your system, first try working through the company to see if they'll correct the problem. If you get no resolution, try to get a hold of someone higher up in the Geek Squad company to help. If all else fails, ask for a refund for failed performance. If you can't get that and wish to pursue it legally, find an attorney that will review to see if you have a case.
Without knowing exactly what you asked them to do and what you believe the problem to be, I can't really say what you should/shouldn't do. Post more details please.
Oh, if you have data loss (i.e. pictures, music, docs, etc...), please look at purchasing a data recovery program before you do any more changes to the system. You may be able to recover some of the lost files if they weren't overwritten. Generally the file data will exist on disk and just the file system pointers to the data are erased, not the data.
If you lost data, well you should have backed it up no matter how safe someone says a procedure is. Depending on how critical your data is, your backup solution could be a simple monthly archiving of information to CD/DVD. If you make frequent changes, you can look at software backup solutions to manage full/incremental backups. The solution for you all depends on what you feel you can afford to lose.

First, posting this 4 times will not solve your problem. Second spread the word. I am currently telling all my friends to stop going to bestbuy for the following reasons:
1) Their customer service sucks. You can tell that bestbuy is fortunate to have thier employees even show up for work I guess.
2) Their Geek Squad are a bunch of Superiority Complexed people that thrive on belittling the general public due to their lack of computer knowledge and/or Star Trek and Star Wars
3) Their prices suck! I just priced PNY PC2700 1Gb of ram on their website to find out it was $120. Went to Newegg.com and it was $60. THAT IS 100% mark up for an online purchase?! WTF!?
4) Any time I went in there I seen a sea of blue, yellow and white shirt people that are not helping anyone. Unless of course its the holidays then they care.
5) Their customer service sucks...I know its a repeat but screw them!
I really feel sorry for you and your current standing with these AssClowns. Try to find a friend that knows computers and will help you out. Hopefully they didnt wipe your whole drive and maybe you can slave it by purchasing a Hard drive enclosure. From now on I would purchase all your electronic needs here.

i'm assuming which you have some style of project after a Geek Squad deploy or fix. I advise you call them up and clarify the placement to the guy that solutions the telephone. determine you call the Geek Squad that did the deploy or fix. If the guy that solutions the telephone isn't any help, ask to talk with their supervisor. If that doesn't help, then chalk it as much as undesirable shopper help. Write a letter to the editor of your community paper or bypass to their save and warn their portential purchasers of the therapy they're in for.
