I was wondering, is it possible to save the passwords you enter into your computer, and later if you forget, be able to go back and look at them? Or if you want to never forget your password for a site or program you have, is there a way to look back and see what you have typed?

I heard that files on the computer never really disappear, even after you've deleted them... I just wonder if saved files can still be retrieved after reformatting a PC... Please help me! I've gotten the hang of putting items up for auction, and I've even made a few sales.... but I think some of my auctions would have been better if I knew what I was doing on the shipping end. For the last few items I've sold - I just clicked various UPS or Postal Service options that took 2-9 days or so. Anyone have any links or a brief description of what is the best method to determine your shipping charge?

For example - say I was selling a baseball bobble head. I imagine it would cost me about $3.00 to pick up a box and stuff. What shipping option would be best? Thanks in advance.

Our 2 computers run all day but are shutdown about 11PM
1 is used only to read the daily news & use Ebay all day,
the other is for general surfing & uses Piczo & a few small type games.

E.G. - MY pet hate error message:-

why can'te we have

something like that - so you know where to bloody go to find out what's the matter with the flaming thing & dare I suggest it - get a reason or list of possible reasons on which to formulate a course of action to rectify said cryptic error message!

Is that too much to ask of these lazy, self-centered smug I want smash their bloody faces in - socially inept weazles that hold us to ransom over our computers?

Every now and then, my work computer comes up with a screen saying that it cannot find personal settings, and this may be due to a corrupt file. Then all of my settings like screensavers, background, recent files are gone. I dont actually lose any files, but i cant access them in the recent files area. Does anyone know why this is? or how to fix it?

I want to play freestyle streetball on my Emachines computer. I did all of the registration things, but when I got to the part of downloading it said you needed 1 Gigabyte of hardrive space. Also, you must create a file and all of that stuff. Heres the problem-
I do not want to take up a whole bunch of space on my computer on a game. This computer is used for school work too and other things. So is it alright to download the game? Here are some specifications of my computer-

160GB ATA hardrive
512 MB DDR SDRAM Dual Channel
2.0 GHz
AMD Athalon 64 Proccessor 3200+
I have no clue what any of this stuff is. Please help!!

I have a dial-up connection to the internet and I'ts quite annoying when I want to watch something on youtube. Is there anything that I can do to make the buffering not take 5 hours?

p.s Don't tall me to get high speed because I cant in the area I live in and I know that accelerator dont accelerate video feeds.
