I don't know what "word pad" is, but if it's like Microsoft Word you go under Format, Paragraph and then where it says Single line spacing you change it to double. Or you click on the formatting palette that usually pops up, choose Alignments and Spacing, highlight your entire document and then click the lines that look like they have a space between them.
PS. Don't say things are "gay" -that's really rude.

To double space in Wordpad, do the following:
1) Highlight (select) all of your text. You can do this quickly by pressing CTRL+A
2) Press CTRL+2
This will double space all the text you have already written.
Otherwise, you will need to press CTRL+2 after every line.
I am not aware of any way to automatically double-spacing as you go along

Highlight it all, go to format, paragraphs and there's an option to click on for double spacing near the bottom of the window

Exactly what the guy before me said. Wordpad doesn't double space.
Try to get Microsoft word.

Hit "Enter" two times.
You can go to the link and download "Open Office" for free. It works like a Word Processor.
