I dont know whats going on with my laptop. I have a HP WINDOWS VISTA home premium, and it worked fine till i turned it on today. my laptop comes with a scroll wheel built in the mouse pad. But for some reason today its not working. Why is the scroll function on my mouse pad not working? I dont think I changed anything to make it stop working, is there any button i can press to make it start working? Im lost so I need some help

If rebooting doesn't help you might want to check your mouse settings. You can find the settings here:

1) click start
2) click control panel
3) click mouse

Depending on the driver for your mouse, there is probably a tab called "scrolling". You can update all the settings for your scroll wheel here.

mine does that sometimes but its a HP with XP on, just try rebooting it a few times, meh.

could i know the kind of your workstation? only reinstall the motive force for the mouse, lots of the branded workstation has drivers to their help internet site (an as much as date one) so as that it wont conflict on your vista in case it right now as much as date.
