The Internet itself is just a tool. A gateway to people, places, and things that before that were harder to access and easier for some groups to keep controlled.
The net itself is not the threat, it's how people decide to use it that can affect things like morality.
While true, more people cheat, and there is more pornography on the net than before. Though people meet because of the Internet that would have never had the chance before.
One question you have to ask yourself. Do we blame the person that invented the chain saw for the madman that decides to cut his family up with one?

Interesting topic for a debate :-)
I strongly am against this argument since i feel that the Internet is one of the best wonders of the last century, helped and touch billions of people around the world connect, share, transact, sell, buy,.....(the list is endless)..Morality is subject to one's perspective and i don't think you have universal code or doctrine for the same.
With the internet you are in control of your own actions, like in real life. So the judgement call is essentially yours.

Yes, and no. The internet is a good thing, but spoiled by the filth that prowl through it trying to corrupt everything decent.
There are threats to morality on and offline, so it's a difficult question to answer.

No-those who have a strong morality will not be corrupted by outside influences other than minorly and transiently. The internet is beneficial to many more than may be harmed by it.
