I created a movie using windows movie maker, I added photos and music files, then I emailed the movie file...?
to a person who was going to burn a DVD of it however the photos are coming thourgh with black x's and not the photos, how do I need to fix this file so the pics go with and show up in the video?

i found that I can create an email file within wmm however the path it gives me to then browse to link to an attachment, I am unable to find...
documentsandsettings/owner/applicationdata etc.

Instead of sending the "save" file, you need to "export" or "create" a video file. This will embed all the images etc in a true video file,

Movie Makers own files are simply links and timing references + any info on fades etc. So emailing that is like emailling an index to a fooder but not the folder itself

You need to also send each picture. The Windows media file used pointers to the pictures, not the pictures themselves. I would first create a folder and put the pics and music in the folder. Then I would recreate the WMV file right in the same folder. Then I would compress the whole folder (Windows XP has compression built-in, so does Vista) and email that to the person with the DVD burner. When they decompress it will recreate the entire folder structure and the WMV pointers will work.
