Can anyone tell me what software i need to copy them onto my computer? i have a dvd Rwriter drive and a cd drive. but i cant seem to copy dvds onto my hard drive?

I have a dell home computer. There is a whole bunch of games and things downloaded on it and I do not know how to erase them. They are not in the control panel. One of them is the sims. When I told the person to erase it off my computer they right clicked. So it is still on my computer and a whole bunch of other stuff. Can you give me any ideas of what to do?

i remember doing it before all the time, but now i cant remember. its somewhere under settings. and when i get to it i can delete my cookies and my history. i use to do it all the time to make my computer a little faster but i havent been on in a while so i cant remember. i have Windows XP.

full version of win 98 or newer i have windows xp upgrade but my win 98 disk is scrached so bad it wont work so dose any one have any of the win 98's full version os disk with the product key thay want to sell real cheap or give it free "lol"

I have many videos, most of which use the Divx codec.
When i give them to my friends, they can't watch it and i don't feel like telling them to download codecs.
Is there a way to remove them from a vid and make it standard format?

If i go into "Users" and create a new computer administrator account simply named "Administrator", will it show up on the welcome screen the next time I start up on Windows XP? Or would I have to log on to that account with the classic menu (ie. pressing ALT + CRTL + DEL twice and then entering "Administrator" as the user name).

Thanks in advance. It's a really question, but I'm too stupid to know.

I sometimes get a message virtual memory is low. i set the paging file to 379mb (recommended)
and it still does it. Have deleted temp files browsing history and defraged any more ideas? Set paging higher?
