I sometimes get a message virtual memory is low. i set the paging file to 379mb (recommended)
and it still does it. Have deleted temp files browsing history and defraged any more ideas? Set paging higher?

***no use of deleting de temp files or defragmentin dey will only help to speed secondry mem ie de hard disk... ur prblm is related to physical memory or de ram...so u need to get som additional memory...
for dat u can either buy a new RAM or reduce de no. of processes runnnin i guess u must have many unwanted processes running..end dem..also take MSconfig and remove unnecessary pgms from startup....

Go buy more Physical memory.

Whenever your computer dips into the virtual memory, your performance will drop considerably. This is because virtual memory is on your hard drive and is MUCH slower than physical memory.

You could increase your paging file and you might stop recieveing the messages, but you will still notice a slowdown.

You can either increase the paging file, or just switch it to "Let the system manage" and then it can readjust the size as needed without giving you the message.

well that you depends how many applications you are using at the same tiem...try set page a bit more...380-385MB and see if Wi9ndows keep complaning,
