I can't delete a file called 'Sony Ericsson File Manager' on Desktop. When i right-click on it,the only options I have are:

Open(does nothing)
Explore(doesn't appear on Windows Explorer)
Create shortcut
Rename.

I can't even move it. Please help!

I have an audio deck and sometimes it suddenly decides to shut down and say that the program isnt moving fast enough for my computer... what would make this happen and why will it mute my microphone.

I have bought a second hand laptop that runs windows ME and has been working perfectly until I tried to hook up a new Lexmark 1200 series printer. I put in the only disk supplied with the printer marked "installation software and user's guide" and then I began trying to install. It always gets to a certain point and then says "The file lxczinst.dll was not found. Windows needs the disk labeled 'Lexmark 1200 series Driver disk' to continue. This disk may be provided by your computer or device manufacturer"..................WHICH of course it's not, and so I press skip, skip and then it takes me to installation wizard, which begins to work, and then stops suddenly and says "Error copying file lexpps.ex_."....................Please help, is this my computer or the printer? What do I do?

I have a Dell Latitude laptop that has died, due to old age, and won't turn on. It's not worth getting it repaired as it was falling apart anyway, but I just wondered if there was any reasonably cheap and easy way of rescuing data from the hard drive.

hi, i have 50 anime episodes(about 10GB) that i need to burn into cd so i can free some space. i only have 3GB left for my HD. but i dont have DVD burner. i plan to burn them into cd-r. but each cd-r can only hold about 4 episodes. i plan to compress them with winrar or winzip, then burn them into cd. that can fit around 10 episodes per cd-r. but i wonder if that would lose video and audio quality. thanks!

When I write new and rewrite updated files to a 750MB CD-RW it eventually shows the CD as full and will not write to it anymore. I have only 173MM on my 750MB CD-RW and it shows as full. I am using the Windows CD writer. If I erase it, it will work for a while, then it starts showing as full. Can anyone help?

I've contacted the seller about them not working. They won't respond and I can't even get my money back. They work fine on a regular dvd player. The computer won't recognize them. So I don't know if there are programs that will work. I have VLC media player and that usually plays everything. Thanks!

Can viruses and spyware attach stuff to your computer that you truly didn't view yourself? (porn) My husband had this laptop and then we gave it to my middle son. We had a problem with our anti virus program and went a time w/o any. The computer died and a family friend attempted to clean it out for us, then informed my older son that it had been used to look at porn. My older son says that he can tell it was viewed and or attached by some form or use of limewire. My middle son does use limewire, but is adimant that he has not viewed porn. So, is it possible that viruses and spyware, which we knew it had, can attach crap to your computer? My middle son is totally embarrassed this family friend may think he is a perv!

Someone buys from me (on Ebay) & pays by Paypal...... the sum of money is around £400 which includes £200 postage to Australia. ( there are a number of heavy parcels being sent by Airmail)..and doesn't bat an eyelid at the postage charge tho I did offer 2 options & he went for the most expensive ...makes me suspicious that he may not be genuine although the money is in my Paypal account as he has contacted me a number of times since enquiring if the goods have gone yet as though he's in some big hurry. This is the first thing this buyer has bought on Ebay. ( under that user name anyway) His Paypal account is not verified.... how do I know if this person is genuine & do I have any form of protection if it all goes t*ts up?? Or what can I do to ensure that I am not being scammed in some way before I send the goods?

When I turn on the computer it takes up to 15 minutes for everything to load up, Norton being the last program to come on. Then when I click on Internet Explorer I have another 5 to 10 minute wait for it to open. I am running Windows XP Professional. The computer is 2 years old and I noticed this problem as soon as I downloaded the latest Windows update which was right after the latest Windows OS came out. Any help would be much appreciated.
