My norton said i have 2 viruses on comp. it told me 2 reboot, if i do will my things saved on my comp. erase????

it needs to reboot to clean files on startup.
I recommend saving all work before rebooting.
nothing exept infected files/viruses will be deleted

It more than likely needs to reboot in order to eliminate the viruses completely. Sometimes a virus will load into memory as well as write files to the disk. Norton will dump stuff from the disk, but the stuff in memory can only go away once you do a reboot. Also, this might be a good time to learn a lesson and think about a backup procedure for your important stuff.

You have to reboot because Norton cannot remove certain files while the operating system is mounted. It will try and remove the offending files before Windows loads on the reboot.

no they won't be erased. but save all your stuff first before rebooting like a document

hm....no it won't delete..any info
Norton won't delete but viruses you have might..

get AVG, AVAST...both antivirus programs are 30-60 days free,
they can get of viruses.
