Depends on whether you mean the Temp files in IE or the Temp files in Windows itself. You have a variety of answers because different people are reading the question differently.

If you mean within Windows itself, use the Desk Cleanup. Start > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup

If you mean with Internet Explorer, Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files (also Delete Cookies and Clear History)

On Windows XP, you can do this:

*Click the Start menu
*Choose "All Programs" > "Accessories" > "System Tools"
*Pick Disk Clean Up

Windows will scan possibe files to be deleted. This also includes Temporary Internet Files. If that's what you meant, then that's what you have to do! ;)

Hubby (who is a software developer) tells me you need to go to 'my computer', highlight the disk you wish to clean up then either right click or highlight and select file menu, properties and click on disk clean up. Hope it helps!
