if this don't work you mite have a problem with your audio card it'self, like the driver mite be bad or out of date.

if you have sound with any program
except I-tunes
then it's not your audio card.
it's an I-tunes issues.
thus follow the following i got off the apple website.
se if that works.

When did this problem start?
Was it after you download som software or updating your computer?

You may have a corrupt driver.
Check it: Right click My computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager

If you do NOT see any yellow/black icon next to the Sound, video and game controller, then your problem is in iTunes

If its iTunes go to the option/preference menu and configure the audio properties to match that of a known working media player i.e Windows Media Player.

(If you're using Windows) click on the volume icon in the bottom-right system tray, and if it says there is some kind of error, restart the computer. If that doesn't work, and if you're a more advanced user, go into the Device Manager (once again, if you use Windows) and check the settings on the audio device. If everything is fine, try looking for help at your audio device's website. Hope it works!
