On my Dell Dimensions 3000, my modem is an Intel 537EP v9x DF PCI modem, and under Devices/Network Adapters I see Intell PRO/100 VE network connection. But on the back of the computer, the three slots that look like phone jack slots all seem to be the same size. One has a phone next to it, one has shape like a straight-on view of a phone jack, and the the other that is higher up near the cable connections has what looks like a network icon -- a horizontal bar with connections to three boxes -- two below, one above. I can fit the phone jack in that hole. -- Thanks

The situation is like this:
When I start my computer is tell me with this message.
"Boot from ATAPI CD:ROM: Disk Boot Failure,Insert System Disk
and Press Enter".
Then I restart the computer and this time I put start up disk and the window 98 CD. Then,loading in some time about a few second then the message tell me about this "Scanning system registry can"t create a temperory directory.If you have HPFS or MTFS installed on your hard drive,you will need to create an MS-DOS boot pertition set up windows.

Please tell me how to do?Help me.

i have an hp computer to whitch i forgot my password to and i don't know what to do to bypass my password screen. any suggestions on how to get passed that screen or if it can be fixed at all by buying something new. i cant get passed that screen so i cant see any options. what can i do to reset the brains of my computer i dont care about loosing my info.

My motherboard got burned out by the usb ports on the front (keys and a five year old). I changed the motherboard but and never plugged those usb ports into the motherboard. If I do will I burn out the motherboard again?

Not sure what to do i'v downloaded all the available updates.

Last time I am using Easy Recovery Professional Software for recover files from PenDisk. While I was recovering my files from pendisk my system was hanged. I pulled out the pendisk from the USB port after waiting 2 or three minutes. Then I pluged the PenDisk, PenDisk was found,

But, When I am trying to open pendrive Drive, There is a message as "Please insert the Disk into Drive".
