nvidia differnce of price exchange?

i have a geforce 6800 and im sick of it. i want a 7900gt and i heard nvidia lets u pay the difference in price if u wish. is this true? if so where can i do this?

Haven't heard about a current "upgrade" policy, but here's a link to the "Got VooDoo Get Verto" promotion

You could Email Nvidia and ask them about any such current promotions.
