My computer is a 6740C. My problem is my cd-rom and where you put the floppy disc will not read. when i try to install something like a game it won't read the disc. the one for the floppy does not work either. I tried to put the disc in before startup to see if it catches when its booting up but, nothing.I can't do a recovery because the cd-rom will not read the disc. One day it worked fine then the next day nothing. I didn't do anything to it that i know of. Please help me if you can.

I checked the cord for damage and I've made sure all the connections are good. What could be causing this?

I am a AMD man myself but I have nothing against Intel Processors. My first build ever was with a Pentium 4 and it worked great. I just think that AMD's run WAY cooler and cost less, and I'd much rather be running a sempron than a celeron for budget purposes(celerons stink). Plus the only reason that Intel processors sell better(if they even do) is because they are so widely advertised. So many people dont even know who AMD is. Let me know what YOU think.

I'm Looking For A Good Way To Record/Upload Videos Using My Webcam For Dirt Cheap Using A Certain Software Or Website..

I Sometimes Use Stickam.Com To Film/Upload, But It Sometimes Stops A Bit. Also, I Tried Amcap Or Whatever It's Called, And I Don't Really Like It..

Any Suggestions On A Better Site Or Free (by any chance) Software That Lets Me Record via Webcam?

Would Be Nice To Try Yahoo Video To Answer Questions, If Only It Were That Easy..

Thanks!

by the way: didn't know where i should exactly fit this question into, internet, software, or this one, other hardware.. thought it would best fit this one since it's all connected back to the webcam..

No recommendations, please! Just a simple ansewer will do. I have an Aureal Vortex 1, which I bought several years back. It's made by Aureal, and is not a copy with an Aureal chipset

This morning when we turned our computer on, a message popped up that said "CPU fan failure." Every once in a while, it would seem like the fan would make a weird louder noise, but that was like months ago. And I don't want any stupid answers like "you need to replace the fan." No duh. It's a Dell Dimension 8400, so we're probably just going to have to send it in?

What I am attempting to do is record the input from two different USB mics into Garageband. It does not need to be a stereo pair, more like an interview format. I'm wondering if it is possible or would I be better off getting my hands on an audio interface. Thanks.

I've tried it and I don't really like it. I like its appearance but I don't like the performance.

Anybody else feel the same way?
