You will always get better performance (especially if capturing) from an internal card, plus the video it produces is usually CPU independant, and therefore can easily run without slowing down your applications.
External of course has ease of installation on it's side.
You will need to weigh these and decide which is better for you.

INTERNAL, definately.
coz as far as i know you cannot capture using external usb card.
i would recomment a dazzle card if you are using for capturing purposes ( i think from pinnacle)
but if on a budjet get a normat tc tuner card,it's available for like1200 here ( both internal and external)
buy external if you willbe moving your card a lot (pc 2 pc)

Whichever is easier or cheaper for you. Sometimes external is better because you can plug it into a front USB port and have connections right in front of you. If you choose internal then it may be cheaper but the connections and antenna all plug into the back. Your choice. Good luck!

internal are cheaper and possibley better but if you dont know much about the inside of a computer buy an external one
