Silly question, but for a P4 Dual Core cpu, can I download x64 version of apps or does it have to be x86 still? Thanks!

Cuurently XP media center edition, but hope to upgrade to Vista when its out. I hear its gonna be 64bit, correct?

P4 introduced EM64T that would allow an x64 based OS. If you have an x64 based OS then you could run x64 based apps - what OS do you have?

you may swap it for a pentium d it truly is a twin center, yet you cant swap it for the pentium duo twin center, I honestly have a gigabyte motherboard that takes pentium 4 ht, and pentium D

you can download it,but,you need(probably) the 64 bit version of windows to run it.
