It seems that everything is shrinking down so that in not too long we will have a cell, mp3 player, camera, etc all in one…BUT, the only thing holding it back (in my view) from having a computer built in is those tiny screens and keyboards. What do you think is the future of this and how will the screen/keyboard issues be overcome?

first, it started in when i always trying to open my yahoo messenger, the freesignup in greencard in new york, was poping-up.

then, after i talked to my uncle in yahoo messenger, the internet become slow, then my computer detects a virus...
first, i dont mind it... but when this number appeared(64.62.228.66)...i feel thats its really a virus.

after that,i click norton antivirus,
then the symantec starting to pop-up it says "scanning message 1of1" and theres a taskbar that poping-up too,and it always says " your e-mail message to blabla with the subject of blabla was unable to sent because..... blabla

then, i try to turn-off my computer, but its still poping-up. After that, i decided to not open my computer in a week.

after a week, i open my computer and its still poping-up,and when i trying to click nortonantivirus it always says " nortonantivirus has encountered an internal program error.uninstall & reinstall norton."

what should i do to stop this virus?

I posted an earlier qestion regarding an DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL message I get when not using my computer. That is, when i am using it, typing and scrolling, everything is fine, but often when left unattended to run by itslef it gives me the above message on the dreaded blue screen.
I believe it is a mouse problem but can not figure it out for sure, i ran driver detective and i say that my drivers for my touchpad mouse and optical mouse are both missing the correct drivers. I have uninstalled reinstalled software and drivers, installed new, plug-and-play mice but i get the same problem. blue screen and driver detective says its still not got the right drivers.
any ideas.??

no reponses about viruses/hackers/spayware please. Its a hardware/drivers problem

I am using Dlink Adsl router and Bsnl broadband connection.
Intel processor, XP service pack 2.
The ADSL light in the router is steady and constant.
But Problem is that sometimes the connection is lost and I have reinstall the modem driver, restart the router, restart the computer or Plug out and again plugin the router.
But sometimes all this fails, and when I format my computer, all starts working fine but only fore few days.
What a strange problem! Please help me out.

My new zen nano is not being detected to my cp. even if it does seem to be detected it takes like 30 minutes and then it freezes when i click on it. everytime i connect it to my cp it, my cp gets slow and when i unplug it my cp is fine. Is there something i can do to get my cp to detect my nano so i can put songs on it. Any tips? the battery is new. its new, the cable is new. what can i do for my cp? Thanks!

I'm wondering if there is a virus or something that can make a hard drive disappear entirley. It is not only missing in Windows, but the computer cannot recognoze it at all, and this has recently happened with two of my hard drives. If there is something causing it, is there a way to fix it? Can a person somehow RESET the drive, like you can reset BIOS defaults? Or anything, the drive in question is a Maxtor 40 gig, seems to be in perfect shape, but suddenly disappeared. they were working fine until now. everything is plugged in right, the volume on the computer and the speaker is up. even if i turn my speaker up to the highest setting, and everything else up to the highest on my computer, you can only hear a faint sound..

Hi Everyone!

So I need help, please. Cable company comes to fix the cable, they go into a wall and replace a broken wire. I should add that they pulled my computer desk out of and back into the wall (it has a million wires, but they were very careful)

I go out, I come back later to listen to music through my computer speakers and winamp/windows media player/etc tell me there is something wrong with the drivers. I checked and everything is correctly plugged in, speakers and audio on.

I need to know what to do in very simple terms!

I am having two hard disk in my machine. One hard is having opearating system as Windows XP and another one is having Windows 2000 Server.

During boot up of machine I choose from which hard disk, have to boot my machine. If i boot my machine from my 1st hard disk then it is showing data of another hard disk with drives of another hard disk like C:\, D:\ E:\, J:\.k:\

1st Hard Disk : C:\ , D:\, E:\, OS = Windows XP
2nd Hard Disk : C:\, D:\, E:\, F:\, J:\, K:\, OS = Windows Server 2000

I am wondering how it is happening. Once it is happening then keeping 2 hard disks in my machine no use. If virus comes in 1st hard disk then it will move very easily to another hard disk.

Could you guide me how to stop reading of data of another hard disk in one hard disk?

i always have a problem with my CD room in the computer ; that is , when i try to make '' an eject '' it does not open , as if something push it to remain inside .it tries to and i hear a '' tik tik '' sound coming from it but still not be ejected , till i hit it by my hand slighttly , then it can make an eject .. and when i bought a new one the same thing happened after a few weeks ..can everyone tell me why is this ? plz ? thx ..

I purcahsed a AMD Athlon 64 3500+, and it was delivered today, I haven't installed on my new motherboard yet, but does anyone know if it runs the same speed as a Intel Pentium 4 3.5Ghz processor does? As they do label up there processors kinda weird!
I have seen games that require 3Ghz now, and the side of the box it says it runs at 2200+ Please can anyone Help me out here???
