get a new cpu. Many brandname websites sell barebones systems that can handle a new cpu. I've seen prices as low as $100 for cpu, memory, case, powersupply, and motherboard that could definately play battlefield 2 once set up. If you can put together the parts and install a hard drive and cd or dvd-rom you're set.

Battlefield 2 is a good game. I would get a barebones system or build your own. If it says that your computer isnt good then then game will not be as fun either. It is mostly an internet based game so you are probably gonna want a high speed internet connection if your not already on one.

You can start by deleting all of your temporary internet files, but chances are if the game says your computer is too slow, it means you need to upgrade it to run the game. Cleaning up all your temp files will speed up the computer, but it won't change you computer speed.
