Here's two that I found. ATI or Nvidia doesn't matter.

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as...
which one you think is overall better?
Is there a better one then these two? Company has to be ATI certified? To me it matters. I've bought cards before that were just crap, because they weren't.

Comp. specs
AMD 3200+
ECS N2U400-A
512 DDR 400
420W PSU

Plan on using it mostly for games, all other programs doesn't matter to much unless there's that big of a difference between ATI and Nvidia.

This is frustrating..I updated all drivers and installed them properly.
The manufacturer indicated this Video card will work with widescreens if set at 60HZ which is my only choice. When I get to display I dont have 1680x1050 as a choice. The best I get is 1400x1050. Can someone help??

I have an eMachines T5226 and I was told by some people that it would work fine on my computer but I just want to make sure that my power supply is good enough. Also would it be a noticeable upgrade from the video card that it came with?(Intel GMA 950)

Should it have a high wattage rating? (i power a lcd monitor, a logitech g15 keyboard, a 30a 12v graphics card, two harddrives, a floppy drive, two dvd drives, and an external harddrive.)
Should I pay attention to what plugs the psu that i buy has?
Should I pay attention to just wattage, or voltage and amperage as well?
Is there anything else that I should look for?

Thanks In Advance,
someone who has never bought a psu.

I just bought this model and since I started the computer I noticed that the case is really warm (or maybe I must say hot) at all times when it is on. Should I be concerned or since it is a small case it is supossed to be warmer than other computers? I already have a Compaq Evo which is a tower and I never noticed something like this. Thanks for your comments.

I'm thinking about building a desktop and need help choosing a HDD. I look for speed/performance/cost as disk space is not too important to me. I am between the Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10,000RPM HDD or two (2) smaller 7,200RPM HDD's with RAID 0. Which would be faster?

I have 512 RAM on my machine, it's a fairly low end PC from E-Machines. I would like to add atleast 512 RAM more, so I have total of 1 gb of ram. However, the computer store I called said they only have 1 GB of RAM at the moment. That means I'll have a total of 512 + 1 GB of ram, which is fabulous. I checked my RAM slot and theres just 1 more slot left. I have 2 questions: 1) does 1 GB ram come in 2 slots or is it a 1 slot chip? 2) while looking over my current 512 ram that was installed, it simply said DDR .. it did not say DDR 1 or 2. Because this machine is cheap, Im assuming it's DDR 2. How can be certain?

I have a Sharp Aquas HDTV that I would like to use a primary monitor for my Sony Vaio PCV-RX820. The TV has an S-video outlet but the computer does not, so I guess an S-video plug is out of the question. What would be the best option that would give the most clear resolution for everyday use.

Thanks!

I am a middle aged woman with MS and arthritis who uses my desktop for a lot of things...little to no "work" things...but I do write short stories, surf the internet for info, watch videos on the net, play computer games such as Yahoo games, sometimes store and edit photos, create greeting cards, do the whole email/IM thing with friends, occaisionally have to access manufacturers web sites for technical info. I'm not a "gamer" or a "photo editor" or even an "entertainment junkie". I want a reasonably priced laptop that will do a little bit of everything reasonably well. Since the mouse on most laptops is awkward for my hands wireless mouse capability would be a plus. Also I need to be able to hook up both a printer and something that will transfer the info from my old destop into the new computer and I'm a big fan of wireless internet connections. I realize I will probably have to buy more than just the notebook, but I don't even know what software to add! Help!

This has an AMD 850mhz processor, and 128 mb (100mhz) of RAM. This puppy is SLOW! I have Comcast internet, but it still needs a turbo charge. Would it be worth upgrading the RAM on this? I'm looking towards a new computer, but not in the budget until the fall. Please help! Also, don't want to spend too much money. Thx!

I will soon be a Senior in high school & this summer, I'd like to save up for a laptop. I don't know much about computers in terms of wiring & hard drives, etc., so I need some help picking the right computer for me. I know I'll be spending a lot of time on iTunes listening to music; & I will most definitely be using the Internet for school, email, entertainment, & research. I don't play many PC games on software but I'd like to leave that option open in case I ever find a great game. The last thing I'll need my laptop for other than basic school systems (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) is Imaging and Photo Editing. I take lots of pictures & one of my most enjoyable hobbies is editing them. I think at the time I purchase a laptop I'll probably also look into professional photo editing software. I've heard really great things from relatives & friends about the Apple Mac Book computers, but I'm not sure if it's just brand loyalty talking.
Can anyone help me find the right computer?
