I have a HP printer 3210 all in one printer and when I print out a photo it leaves couple of lines right in the middle, what's going on?

I have a notebook computer on order, for school. I want to get wireless internet in my house, and I was told all I had to do is get a wireless router and hook it up. My question is....how do I know if the one I buy will reach throughout my house? And I dont want to spend a lot of money, so will one my "linksys" for $70 be ok?

i sent my Acer in for repair after the ac adaptor cord or whatever got messed up it might have been that or it might have been the piece in the computer idk point is the battary died and i sent it in to be repaired and im just wondering how long should it take to get fixed?

a) i have a virus on the computer and the only way to get it off is to run it in safe mode then do a virus scan. should i have any concerns or anything i need to be careful about so i dont screw up the laptop?
b) also how do i get it back out of safe mode?..i know how to put it in

My computer is acting up badly. I want my computer to run smoother and faster. Its needs more disk space and I need more memory, but at the moment i have no money to buy new hardware. So I went to walmart the other day and I saw some programs that say they can protect against viruses and clean up my system so it can run better. So my question is, what are some good programs to buy to try and fix my computer up a little bit for a do it yourself, computer illiterate person like me?

MY FIRST QUESTION IS WHY IS MY COMPUTER ACTING REALLY SLOW WHEN I SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE OR USE THE ARROWS IT GOES REALLY SLOW AND IT KIND OF SLIDES THE PAGE LITTLE BY LITTLE. SECOND PROBLEM IS THAT FOR SOME REASON WHEN I TRY TURNING ON THE COMPUTER IT LOADS NORMALLY AND INSTEAD OF OPENING UP TO THE WELCOME SCREEN WHERE I LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT..IT TURNS ALL BLACK AND SAYS OFF MODE IN 5 SECONDS AND MY SCREEN TURNS OFF...THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET INTO THE INTERNET IS IF I GO INTO SAFE MODE AND ITS SOOOOO SLOW...WHUT HAPPENED SOMEONE HELP ME!

My computer needs more RAM. Is it true that you can use a flashdrive as RAM? I heard its only for windows vista users (which I have) with something called ReadyBoost but I dont exactly understand what that is. If it does double as RAM is all you do plug it into a USB slot? Is that IT?? I know there has to be a catch. Also if I need more hard drive space can I use the flashdrive? And finally how much do these things cost? And which brand do you recommend for a Dell E1505 Windows Vista Premium user? Thanks. By the way please dont refer me to one of those sites like new egg I'd just like an answer not a referral. when I was online earlier, my computer shut down by itself. There was 2 sparks and smelled like something burning. I disconnected everything and took it outside. It wasn't actually on fire, just smells like something burned out. Can anyone think what would of caused this? And can it be fixed? Could it be the power supply? Thanks

-which is more advanced
-easier to use
-how annoying it is(popups, werid instructions, whatever bugs you from your personal exprience)
-which is better for the long haul (for school and/or fun time)
-how "compatiable" it is

Same thing has happenned to me after several installs of SP2.
I have researched many issues, but none seem to match my problems. Microsoft is hounding me with pop ups to install SP2, but each time I do, all of a sudden XP doesn't recognize my rom drives and the drives themselves won't operate. So I uninstall it, things go back the way they were, and then the pop ups begin again. Iv'e sucsessfully installed it on two other computers, so I know I am not a dummy, or at least I didn't use to think so......

While I am still deciding wether or not I should buy an Alienware Rig or not I just want to know if any of you know an Alienware build in between $4500-$5500 USA dollars (before tax).

I have an old gateway. I thought I would hook it up to install and play some games. I had to reinstall windows 98 and fallowing the installation I couldn't play the games, because the color wasn't correct. I did as the computer said, and went to the control panel, displays and attempted to change the quality. However there were only two options 2-color & 16-color. Both of them are terrible qaulities and I am pretty positive before reinstalling windows 98, the color was fine. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yea. all resolutions seem to not work except for the highest 1200x800. is there some thing i can do to get it working properly again? like all resolutions below the Max are pixelated and Garbled.

I have a Dell Inspiron 630m that I have owned since new for 10 months. Three months ago the original battery (53Whr) started to die and was only holding a charge for about 15 minutes.

So I purchased a new larger 80Whr battery over ebay which was working great and holding a charge for about 4 hours. However, after 3 weeks I turned my laptop on and the battery indicator light was pulsing and it said the battery was not present.

I returned it to the store and was given a new battery - however it was the same story. Worked well for three weeks and now exactly the same problem.

I have flashed my bios to MXC051 A04, cleaned the points on both laptop and battery and have tried reseating it - but nothing has worked. Any suggestions??
