There are no worries of booting your computer into safe mode. Safe mode is a safety feature for your OS to load only a certain drivers and if you're doing safe mode with networking your computer will boot up the network drivers. That way the virus that is running on your computer can be deleted, easily. Virus become harder to delete because when you load windows, you're also loading applications into the system, also. Viruses may do the same task just like your startup programs so they can do it's dirt. You can easily load into safe mode by booting up your computer and before the Windows XP screen comes up, just tap the F8 key, repeatedly until you see a black screen with other options. Do your virus scan with safe mode and if you need to you may use safe mode with networking (Only for virus updating, only). After you're done with virus scan, reboot your computer and your computer will start 'normally'. To make sure that virus is gone, rescan your drive to see if it's still there. (That's my technical advice!) Good luck!!

No. There are no worries when running in Safe Mode. That's why it's called Safe Mode, because it's a safe mode.

No, safe mode is that; safe. To get back to regular, reboot and you will be back on track. Of course, do not tape F8 like when you were booting to safe mode.

To get out of Safe Mode, go to Start, run. Type "msconfig" (without quotes) click on the "boot" tab, and un-check safe boot.
