Just the DVI cable got cut off cleanly. Im hoping to be able to use one of my own DVI connects so I can replace it?

The resolution for this is 1920 by 1200.

This is a high resolution you may need to make sure that it is a dual channel DVI cable.

There are two VESA standards for 1920 by 1200 at 60Hz.

One is 154 Mpel pixel clock and so can go over a single DVI link (The limit is 165 Mpel)

The other is 193 Mpel, and would require a DVI dual link cable.


I do not know which one Apple is using.

yes, any DVI cable will do. If you have to replace the cable, don't spend to much money, when it comes to digital signals. You don't need high end cables......
