That is a question for the store. Most stores that sell brandname pre-loaded PCs will not. They have to sell what the manufacturer's send them. But if you look for a computer store that builds its own custom PCs, you can still get them with XP.

You also have the option of purchase the PC and then purchasing XP. Then selling the Vista with its activation code on E-bay to cover the cost of the XP.

No, only a few laptops I know will have XP on default, IBM Laveno range, HP Business, or Samsung R20 with Vista but they have a full set of XP drivers on their website for reinstalling XP.
