I'm trying to run a program that requires SSE support. I've learned that my CPU either does not support it or it's not enabled for some reason. (possibly because of old bios) I wasn't able to figure out exactly what my motherboard model was so I haven't flashed it. Hear is some info on my motherboard and CPU.

So does my computer have SSE, if so how do I get it turned on? If it doesn't, is there a workaround like SSE emulation. (I heard there's one for Linux)

I have HP Compaq NX9000 Notebook. I have installed vista ultimate. I have 512 MB RAM and Radeon 340IGM Video Card. I cant run Vista Aero Glass effect on my System. How can I force vista to enable Vista Aero Glass on My System ?

I am wanting to do some overclocking and also help my system run cooler altogether. I have an Intel Core2 Extreme quad core processor oc'ed to 2.93 with two very large fans (antec gamer 900 case) and scythe heatsink, Geforce 8800GTS 320mb, WD raptor 120 gig, 2gigs 800mhz g-skillz ram, all stuck on an Asus P5N mobo, with a thermaltake 700watt power sup. I'd like to do some GPU overclocking while maintaining a temp of around 60 C. I want to purchase a liquid cooling system for it, and I was wondering what the best choice would be for my system.

My computer thinks that my CTRL key is depressed even though it isn't. It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem, as I've tried THREE different keyboards. I can't do ANYTHING because I can't type or use my mouse like normal. I've tried system restore, I've tried rebooting, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my keyboard drivers, I've run a virus scan and spyware scan, but nothing works. Does anybody know what's causing this, and, more importantly, how to fix it?

bought a new USB HD, connected it to PC, XP seems recognized and installed it automatically as is supposed to, but the additional icon does not appear in My computer...went to device manager, it is there, initialized it...checked for the update of the driver, its OK, manually installed the driver from the manufacturer site, though no need to do so for XP...but still the icon does not appear...pls give a glue...I am not so good with computers

For about 5 days now every time I turn my computer on it will restart after about 1-2 minutes. I rearranged my bios settings about 100 different configurations to get it to just run. I had it set up where it was working fine except it was really slow. I mean slow, I couldn't do any thing. I think this computer has a mind of it's own, this afternoon I thought I would try again. I turned it on and the Windows XP loading page came up and then it restarted. I went to bios and changed some stuff up and it restarted again at the loading page. so i changed some more stuff now it's working just fine. For how long I don't know. So if anybody can help please respond.

How do I hook my pc and xbox360 into a kzm switch correctly, so that I can switch between using my pc monitor for both my pc and my xbox360?

A few months ago, Microsoft came up with a vga a/v cable that can be used to hook the xbox360 up to a pc monitor with.

I would like to hook both my pc and xbox360 into my monitor, and have heard I have to use a kvm switch in order to do that. However, I am new to hooking consoles into pc monitors, as well as to using kvm switches.

Well here's the deal. I think I deleted my device off my computer and it won't read it... here are some of the things that happens
I can't enter volume control it tells me to add hardware in control panel. When i go there it won't work. I tried unplugging and replugging and it still won't work. I also tried system restore but i can't do that either.

Hey , My new PC just arrived however the Hard Drive is EMPTY lol ... yeah no OS or anything on it yet . It's SATA II . I tried installing windows XP PRO but it keeps telling me "Please insert a bootable disk and press any key to continue" , my initial thoughts were that the disk was faulty however it does work on my Other PC (This one im using now) . This PC is similar , and has the SAME hard drive . What i really want is for that PC to have an exact copy of this hard drive im using now . Any ideas ??? i dont have norton ghost

Its not a girlie question...i swear, my salons decor is pink and white and i would love a lap top to match the look, i have to buy one anyway but a client said she had seen a pink laptop in departures in a european airport, she didnt know the make or name, does anyone know who makes these pink laptops and arre they in stores????
