Man, the 8800 Ultra isn't even released yet! However, the word on the street is that it is just a slightly higher clocked 8800GTX. That mean's it is just barely faster, but the price tag is going to be $999. It is a complete waste of money.

Not only will two 1950XTX smoke the 8800 Ultra, it'll cost $100 less.

However, if you're looking for the best bang for the buck in dual-GPU's, I would got for two 8800GTS 320MB in SLI. That way you spend only about $550, you have DX10 support, and it will eat up and poop out ANY game at 1920x1200 widescreen + max quality (the only way to play!!).

Just make sure you go for a 750Watt or higher PSU with 50+ Amps on the +12V rails.

That's kind of an apples to oranges comparison... The 8800 is by far the better single card, but two of the X1950XTX in crossfire mode would beat it.

But then again, so would a pair 8800GTX linked via SLI. It all depends upon whether you want a one or two-card solution (and if your power supply can handle it) Of course you only get DirectX 10 support with the 8800 series.

The Nvidia one. Although two of the ATI cards will double its performance, they still won't be able to match that of the Nvidia.

The Ultra's better.
BTW if you buy an Ultra instead of an overclocked GTX, you are a moron.
