I have a sis 300/315 3d card it has just 32mb of memory(3d video card memory not ram) so i want to increase it not buying a new card etc.. (for free if possible) please please if anyone knows it then please tell me how??plz plz plz plz &thankyou in advance.

this is my diagnostics report .the games always used to work well.
but now i am gettin slow grafix performance even wen i formatted my windows drive. i have latest drivers.
i hve set my grafix mem to approx.216mb (DVMT).
is there any problem with power source.

I have an acer laptop and it switch on and off it's fan at a fixed interval, I know it's useful but still find it annoying sometime, and the air it's blowing out ain't warm or hot (nice and cool) and maybe the fan isn't needed to turn on all the time?

i have just put in a new Copper heat sink and fan which is a top of market heat sink and it still reaches 127 degrees as soon as it is started up. I have applied thermal paste which is once again the best thermal paste , (Arctic silver) .
I would really like some help working out this proble if anyone can help me.

I'm thinking of buy a 8600GT with my new system just want to know whether you think its worth it.
I want a video card that can play the games out at the moment and I thought that the was quite good considering I'm getting it for $ 285 NZ.
I dont really want to spend much more that that and I was hoping to get a card that supported DirectX 10.

So if anyone could help it would be great.

My computer has 256mb RAM and I would like to upgrade it as much as possible. I had though of adding an additional 512mb but my Dad said to go much bigger. (2gb!)
I was just on Dell's website and they recommended not upgrading any more than the original RAM - I would take this to mean I could only but another 256mb, is this right? I am doubting this will make much difference to the speed of my computer.
They also recommend installing it in 2 smalled units ie 2 128mbs Again this seems like a much more expensive way of doing this.
Can someone please give me some sound advice that is tried and trested! I cannot afford for it to go wrong!!

Got xp on my pc, it went currupt and would not boot. So i was going through the process of re-installng it with the xp disc when half way through my son pulled the plug out! GRR! Now when I try to boot the machine it asks me which copy of xp I'd like to boot from, of corse neither will run. So I try to use the xp disc to start over but it gets to the blue window with terms and cond. and no further! I've been told I need to format the hard drive and re-install windows and without puting the hard drive in my other machine, is there a way please?

My Laptop is M-life (Hyundai) M521N with Core Duo T2050 1.6GHZ, DDR2 1.49G, Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Controller 0. Currently running Vista Ultimate. Previously using XP Professional SP2. It was allright before upgrade to VISTA. I can use the web cam. After installing Vista, I cannot locate the webcam. I even tried the Device Manager, It still fail to detect the web cam. Software from the LAPTOP manufacturer is support until XP only. Anyway to solve it?

Hi all, recently I asked around about not able to play full screen games and some commented that it was my graphics card problem. However, after i tried to reformat last night, i tried changing the resolution and slide it to more than 800x600, I was unable to, the whole monitor turns black and showing a msg above. I was unable to even restart my comp or unplug and plug back remains the same message. So I tried it over on my dad's lcd which was 17" and it works fine with resolution, works fine with games full screen. Im using Samsung 913V 19" LCD, my dad's 17" Samsung LCD. It works fine on his, now I am unable to change my resolution and whenever i did, it turns black and gets hanged or msg appears. I do not experience such problem 2months ago when i reformatted and a year back when i bought the comp, can someone tell me the prob? Cos if its graphics, I wouldnt be able to use it on 17".I changed the settings and back to 19" but it doesnt work either.

i have a wacom ArtPad 2 TABLET (KT model) for windows, and i was wondering how i can hook this thing up to my laptop. the manufacturer (wacom) said that it has to be hooked up using a s-video port (which is on my laptop). so, i tried that, and nothing worked. i even downloaded the latest driver for it, but that didn't work either. any suggestions? 10 points for the best answer! please help!!!!

I am having ATI Radeon 9000 graphics card. I got the driver from ati website. But I couldn't install it. When I try to install it shows "Video Driver not found" .. what is the cause of this ?

i got a gateway notebook almost a year ago, but now the the charger doesn't work. it's not really the charger though, it's where you plug into the charger that's messed up. i'm very sure that the only thing that could fix this is replacing the laptop. i have the serial number, and i made the acount at gateway, and stuff like that. now howdo i get replace my laptop?
