My Laptop is M-life (Hyundai) M521N with Core Duo T2050 1.6GHZ, DDR2 1.49G, Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Controller 0. Currently running Vista Ultimate. Previously using XP Professional SP2. It was allright before upgrade to VISTA. I can use the web cam. After installing Vista, I cannot locate the webcam. I even tried the Device Manager, It still fail to detect the web cam. Software from the LAPTOP manufacturer is support until XP only. Anyway to solve it?

You can't use a store bought version of Vista. The Hyundai version of Vista, when available, will include all the necessary drivers for your laptop.

Re-install XP using the Recovery CD that came with your laptop.

Return what you bought and WAIT for Hyundai to get their butt in gear.

I would request a schematic sheet from your laptop provider on the hardware installed and the manufacturer of that hardware.

From there...you can contact the manufacturers directly either by browsing their sites or 1-800'ing them to get updated vista drivers for their hardware.

Once you have the proper driver installed vista should read your hardware.
