i have currently have a pc with an amd sempron chip with agp. i want to upgrade it to a pci ex with sli. i've deceded to go for a Geforce 7600GS vga...i'm having probs finding a motherboard for my current chip that has SLI too

Is that a Sempron in socket 754 that is why you have a problem finding an SLI motherboard. Because there are so many in AM2 format. Examples:
