I'm trying to run a program that requires SSE support. I've learned that my CPU either does not support it or it's not enabled for some reason. (possibly because of old bios) I wasn't able to figure out exactly what my motherboard model was so I haven't flashed it. Hear is some info on my motherboard and CPU.

So does my computer have SSE, if so how do I get it turned on? If it doesn't, is there a workaround like SSE emulation. (I heard there's one for Linux)

That is an older Athlon that does not have SSE. You could use 3DNow instead. First AMD CPUs with SSE were Athlon XP models and first with SSE2 were Athlon 64s. You can find C and Assembler source code for SSE/SSE2/3DNow (including using 3DNow when SSE is N/A) at my web site:

SSE is an Intel technology. You have an AMD processor.
