A $10 cable that looks like a "Y" . On one end you'll have what looks like an earphone jack...on the other two you'll have what are called "RCA" jacks for left and right speakers. Put the RCA jacks into the AUX or other available ports on the back of the stereo. You should be good to go. Try Radio Shack

Go to Radio shack or some place like it. You will need a cable that has an eighth inch stereo jack on one end like the plug that your little PC speakers have, and two (left and right) RCA plugs on the other end. They will try and sell you something fancy of course that will be labeled for I Pod use. You don't need that. Do not tell them it is for a computer. Just ask to be directed toward stereo cables. I got mine for like eight bucks. So yo plug this in where the sound out is on the back of your computer and, then the other end goes to aux. or some open spot on your stereo. Simple, you do not have to change anything or get any drivers or software or whatever. Just plug it in and go.
Edit other guy it is an eighth inch plug not a quarter. That would be a 10 dollar mistake.

You need to connect your speaker out on your pc to an aux input on your stereo receiver. You could also use the CD input if you don't have an aux input. You will need a cable with a 3.5mm Stereo connector on one end and two RCA connectors on the other end for Left and Right. You can probably get this at radio shack, Frys, Best Buy, Circuit City, or any audio store. Good Luck!

If you have a wireless network there are adapters that allow you to connect your stereo to the network you can then stream your music to the adapter and it will play on the stereo. The one I am familiar with is called air tunes its an apple product so it will probably only work with Itunes (should work with a PC though!).

Another option (its much cheaper) is to buy a special cord for your computer. On one end theres the standard headphone jack the other the red an white connectors for a stereo. Of course then your computer would have to be right next to your stereo.

This depends on what kind of audio input your stereo receives.

If your stereo is like my girlfriend's, it will have an audio jack that looks like a headphone jack. If this is the case, get a double-ended male headphone cable thing from RadioShack. Plug on end into the computer and the other into the stereo.

Otherwise, it probably receives a signal via RCA inputs. If that be the case, you will still need a double-ended male headphone cable thing, as well as an RCA to headphone jack converter thingy and an RCA cable. One end of the male headphone cable plugs into your computer, the other into the RCA converter thingy; connect an RCA cable between the converter and the stereo.

Radio Shack has some adapters which will artwork - a million/8" stereo jack to twin RCA plugs. inexpensive ones artwork merely besides as gold-plated super ones. (you will additionally want a a million/8" stereo to a million/8" stereo cable except the computer is an inch or 2 from the stereo. they arrive in some diverse lengths.)

Radio shack has an adapter that allows one end to plug into the standard 1/4" jack output on your pc and the other end is converted to a standard rca cable. (Red and White Plugs) You can then plug this into your input jack on your stereo and set it to auxilary and it should play whatever sound your computer makes.

(You can plug this adapter into the headphone jack too and it will do the same thing)

Look here
http://www.radioshack.com/search/index.jsp?sr=1&origkw=stereo+adapters&kw=stereo+adapters&kwCatId=&pg=2

You will need :
Gold-Plated Y-Adapter, Stereo Phone Jack to Phono plugs

About 5 bucks

Also you will need:
Philips PH62102 6-Ft. Stereo RCA Cables
Select Length accordingly.
About 6 bucks.

So 11 bucks plus tax. Assuming you have an auxilary or input jack on your stero all you have to do is plug it in and you are good to go.

Hope this helps.

Ok, got the size wrong, whoops, 3.5mm standard jack. Same size that a headphone uses.

If it was wrong you could return the item and get the right one.
