I have a project where I need a small pc monitor. Preferrable about 8 inches. Ever seen one or have any suggestions?

Flat-panel, or CRT?
Many flat-panel ones can be found at that size, but they are usually for DVD players in cars.
I doubt very much you'll find an 8" CRT, so I'll just assume that's not what you're looking for. Here's a LCD from eBay; you might even find one cheaper:)

Yes, Logistics makes them for cars. Here are 7"-15" monitors. they also sell the the 8" monitor. They look very expensive, but electronic car accessories are expensive.
