my desktop color is all weird.

the icons look weird because of that.

same with the wallpaper.

but my internet color is fine.

i just got one, but opted for no extended warranty. will it replace the whole laptop if it somehow fails, or just parts such as battery or hard drive? how about if the screen pixels fail? thanks for any help

I have a Dell Dimention 4600 desktop with a Pentium4 (2.4GHz) running Windows XP Home Edition, and would like to install a TV tuner card so that I can record shows from basic cable.
There are a lot of different cards on the market, so I am a little confused.
Any input on the specifications to look for would be much appreciated. Especially on the included software side.

I have a Dell Latitude CPI R-series notebook with a bad hard drive. I'd like to replace it with a bigger drive, but dont know what to order that will fit.

The old hard drive is an IBM 10.5 GB, and says ATA/IDE on it. It has the part numbers 25L2735, and DCXA-10000 on it. The connector on the end is 1.25" in size.

I have a credit with CDWG that I would like to use to order this part, but they list many kind of hard drives, and I dont know which kind will fit in my laptop.

I have had this HP laptop for abt 3 years now and i hadnt noticed the sound till recently. It could be normal, i dont know much abt hardware. If i tip my laptop while my hardrive is working, i hear a sound like if you tilted a cd player while a cd's playing, its almost like its rubbing against the walls of the HD. Is this normal for a laptop HD?

Currently our HP ML150 (G1) server is running, as Sybase Database server with OS as RedHat.

The capacity of this server is
Xeon 2.8 Ghz/533 Mhz

512KB Level 2 Cache
Intel E7501 Chipset
Intel Xeon 2.4 Ghz/533 Mhz System Bus Speed
36GB 10K Ultra320 Hot Plug HDD
2nd Processor kit option 2.8Ghz for ML150 Only
PCI Slots (2 x 64bit 133/100 Mhz PCI-X Slots, 2 X 64bit Mhz 1 X)

In order to boost the server performance we are planning to upgrade by adding 2nd processor and increase the RAM to 4GB. (This server is dual processor capable and the RAM upgradeable to 12GB)

Is it true that by adding more RAM and adding 2nd processor, will it improve the server performance as well as increase the Cache memory?

HP Confirmed the above parts are still available in the market

Is it wise to upgrade or purchase a newer server with dual processor?
