Ok, I got a new computer, due to the fact that my other one just stopped working. If my new computer has an extra RAM slot, and both computers have the same type of RAM, is it possible to add the RAM stick from the old computer to the new one?

And what about a floppy drive from my old computer?

How can I do both of these things if they are possible?

I am thinking it is my video card, but I don't know how to figure this out. I need a computer whiz. I'm kind of new at this computer stuff. i cannot find the propeties tab on my mac computer. i was told that it was under the file tab but i still can't locate it. maybe it's called something different on a mac.

My Mac lap-top is only a few moths old and the baterry wont charge up when i plug the cable in. Any ideas. It works when actually plugged in but if i remove the cable it turns off straight away.

Computer would not turn on after house lost power during thunderstorm. Replaced the power supply but......Need help with 3 connector location for the Chassis 9-pin Front Panel Header(accidentally disconnected) I have three connectors to connect, PWR LED blue &white, HDD LED red & white, and pwr s/w balck & white. How do these connect?

If they are connected properly and the computer will not power up, what is the next thing to check?

I used the Hewlett Packard laserjet 1100 printer about 4 years ago and now I would like to use it with a new laptop I recently purchased. However within my set up, the paper falls to the floor after it is printed and it is very difficult to maneuver around to reach the paper after it falls. I do not remember the paper falling to the floor when i previously used it; is there a piece that I lost? Is there anything such as a tray I could purchase to prevent the paper from falling?

I want a bigger hard drive on my computer/laptop but am unsure if besides the hard drive is there anything else I need to change video card etc..... I believe my hard drive size now is about 20GB I would like to install 160GB is there any problems I could run into when doing this ?? I am 14 and I want to buy a laptop. I have to buy it by saving up my money from my allowance which is $10 in the winter and $20 beginning April or whenever the snow is off the ground and I can start mowing lawns. I've already selected the "No Sounds" scheme from the Sounds and Audio Devices button at the Control panel but it still makes the sound whenever I push the Power button to turn the laptop on. I'm referring to the start-up sound when you push the Power button, not the Windows start-up sound that indicates the OS is loading. Unfortunately, my laptop doesn't have an external volume control knob or switch.

I recently installed the webcam into our new computer on Vista. However, when I run Windows Live Messenger and try to make a video call, the sound works but all i get is a fuzzy screen. iTs not lighting or whatever, bc when you use the camera software i can take video and such but it just won't work with WLM. any advice?
