I am 14 and I want to buy a laptop. I have to buy it by saving up my money from my allowance which is $10 in the winter and $20 beginning April or whenever the snow is off the ground and I can start mowing lawns. I need a cheap, but still quality laptop or computer that is around under $500. I would prefer a laptop though! And I want to buy one not online or off of ebay. Thanks!!

you can get a cheap off brand one new for around $500 before tax. but your best bet would to be spend 600-700 on a batter one... but if your going used, you can get one off ebay thats good for around 300-400.. Id go with a IBM Thinkpad or Toshiba...

$500 is enough for a new laptop but that no internet claus makes it a little harder. Best deals are found online althought not on ebay but rather special sales of for example Dell. To give you an idea, right now they have a pretty loaded laptop which totally exceeds your needs for $600, so you get the idea.....
Your best option other than that is the black friday sale. Drop me a line when you have your money in hand and I will tell you where you can get the best deal at the time.
