My video card went bad on our Dell Dimension 4100 866mhz. I had an old ATI 16MB card but it's not nearly as good as the 32MB card it replaced, any suggestions for a 32 or 64mb card for $50 or less?

So... your price is actually a little too high if you were just looking for a 64MB card. True enough, your CPU will be the limitation in your system with even some of those cards installed but I also wouldn't give a 32MB or 64MB card the time of day.

It's time to consider a new system... it really is but if not... those are some good cards for your system.

PCI or AGP? 2X, 4X or 8X? Bus speed?

Determine the above by going to the Dell website, then, any older ATI or nVidia graphics card should work and should also be in your price range.

But, maybe you should think about a new PC instead, $400 Canadian buys you a new PC with Windows XP AND decent graphics. You can find good deals at Radio Shack, Futureshop, Tiger Direct, Staples, etc.
