Laser printers are great for printing black text or grayscale graphics quickly and inexpensively.

You can always run both an inkjet printer for color and a laser printer for text.

That'll save you the most money while allowing you to print any document.

Laser printers are quite reliable, more so than an inkjet printer and especially if you don't print for extended periods.

To save even more money, try to find a printer that will allow you to use remanufactured toner cartridges. Start looking for older models that have been on the market for at least six months.

Make sure you only buy class one remanufactured toner and not just refilled cartridges. They usually carry a pretty good warranty and are guaranteed to work as well or better than OEM cartridges.

Four years and counting. I still use the original cartridge that came with my Brother HL-1435 Laser and I did two years of college, so I'm a fairly heavy printer user. Toner doesn't dry out, either.

If I need colour prints of photos, i just go to Walmart!!!

Inkjet may be extra water-resistant yet extra extreme priced to run. lots extra extreme priced even however the acquisition value of a laser printer may be bigger you will shop enormous dollars interior the long term. laser printer won't print very properly onto damp paper. in case you purchase an inkjet be sure you in basic terms purchase one the place you may replace the ink colorations for my section. multi function ink cartridges are a waste of money.
