I'm currently a college student however I'm looking into either majoring in photography or media arts- film. So I'd like a laptop that is superior for both altering photo images and editing footage, but also good for doing the ordinary office type things - essays and such. What is the best Apple laptop computer?
The Macbook does seem like it would work well however the Macbook pro seems to have very good reviews for field work which is something that I'd like to get into.

Also if you have any input about Photo shop or other programs that would be great!

The printer is an HP P2015 laser printer. I have the install disk that came with the printer, but it won't autorun. When i run the setup.exe file from the disk, the install starts, but stops halfway through with a security message saying that I can only run this program when logged in as an administrator (which I am). HP's website says that vista drivers for this printer are coming soon, but I need a temporary fix until they do. Even partial functionality (just basic printing) would be enough.

Are HP Laserjet 4100 printer drivers compatible with 4200 printers?

Our printer broke and we have a network and we are trying to replace the printer. Instead of going to each computer and changing the default profile, we just want to change ip address and swap the printer. The one we want to swap is a 4200N while the one that broke was 4100N.

Will this work?

I just bought a notebook and I forgot what type of graphics card I have. I found out that it is an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950. Is the computer supposed to be using the whole 224MB of memory to get a better picture? I'm not sure how the dedicated graphics cards work. My desktop is old and the graphics card does not have memory on it.

I have a study room with a large home/office desk. I also hear the 22" has an adjustable swivel. I bought a 19" home and it looked smaller then my 15" crt because of the height. the 20 and 22 have a large black piano style trim which makes it look even bigger.

had to reinstall windows a few times it says somithing like
this N:/is not accesible
the device is not ready
Id love to be able to use my dvd drive again to listen to music

I was thinking of upgrading the memory on my laptop with two slots, and I wanted to know if you could have 256MB + 512MB or 256MB + 1 GB or do they both need to be the same?

My main issue is cost, I figured it would be more economical to buy 1GB memory and install it with one of my existing 256MB instead of buying 2 x 512MB. I know little about upgrading computers so any input would be helpful.

hi,
i used to have microsoft word on my computer, but then everything got wiped out :(
so when i put the disk in my computer to put it back on, it does nothing.
it's weird because all my other disks (like computer games/CD's) all start up. i dont know what to do, and i have 3 essays due tomorrow! help!

do you know why it's not running?

do they make a device that you can store movies on? i have about 50 full length dvd movies that i want to store. im not interested in something like a video ipod, were you can also view the videos. i just want to store them. do they make memory cards or discs or anything like this, or is that just too much memory to store?

I am using Windows XP as my operating system, plan to purchase a laptop, but Vista is now the current operating systems in new laptops. Can I transfer data using the usb 2 port between the computers. I could not locate any information on Windows XP help, I find their help usually is not much help at all.

I have a laptop and the screen is dirty. From little hands from the kids i babysit, and just being dusty. It's the shiny screen, as opposed to the matte looking screens. I have no clue what to use to clean it. HELP!

when you over clock your CPU and/or GPU.
Does the CPU or GPU put out more heat even if you don't up the voltage?If so how does it put out more heat with out more volts?

Hi..... Are there larger size laptop's available than 17 inche's, or is that the largest available.... Have you got a big one, and does it perfom well, or have you found it performing only so, so... Let us know if your biggy is a boomer,... or a flop,... with to much fizz, and not enough bubble's....
