Has the disk been corrupted?
Its simple but have you tried re-starting your computer?
Are you running in Administrator mode?

If all else fails try the notepad!!

Have you checked the disc through myComputer, if not just go to start mycomputer and with the disc in the drive, double click on the drive it is in, it should say microsoft and a window will open then you can install from there via the setup icon. good luck.

well you didn't provide specific info but it may be that your autorun is disabled if so the problem is simple to fix. all you have to do is go to my computer then double click on the microsoft office cd and run it. if this doesn't work then you might want to provide more details

Try opening My Computer, right-clicking on the CD drive and selecting "Install".
